B & D Upholstering was founded in 1948 by Bob Arndt and Don Gates. After serving in WWII they met in furniture upholstery school and upon graduation they rented a small building in Roseville and opened their new business, B & D Upholstering. After three years Bob bought out Don's investment to run the business himself. 

    B & D continued to grow through the years. Bob's family followed him into the business and B&D eventually came to be known as one of the premier furniture repair and upholstery companies in southeast Michigan. Bob's son Steven took over the reins of the company around 1989 and his son Adam, is working towards doing the same. Our goal is the highest quality product at a reasonable price.
